作為此次展覽主題，回應本系首次進入科技藝術館，為新媒卓越獎揭開序幕 ; 違例在籃球比賽中視為小犯規，寓意新媒系學生把日常在內心層面的小叛逆轉化爲創作手法，打破以往規則。

藉此標題「小開場：日常違例」利用新媒體的多面向，將科藝館化身為讓創作者與觀眾產生交流的思想場域。

本次展場分為「藉由影像闡述」、「透過數位轉化」二大種類作品，從中可發現新媒系學生運用了科技、動態影像與實體裝置，去轉化、形象化自身情感和關注的議題，開創別於以往的身體感知 ; 新媒體藝術的無邊界使新媒系學生形構出多種想像與思考藝術創作的方式。

“tiny Opening: Daily Violation” serves as the theme for this exhibition, marking the debut in the Center for Art and Technology for the NMA Excellence Award. “Violation” in basketball is seen as a minor foul, symbolizing how students transform their daily inner rebellions into innovative ideas, breaking traditional rules.

With the title “tiny Opening: Daily Violation,” the multifaceted aspects of new media transform the museum into a conceptual space for interaction between artists and viewers.

The exhibition is divided into two main categories of works: “Elucidation through Image” and “Transformation via Digitalization.” From these, it can be observed that the New Media Department students utilize technology, motion pictures, and installations to transform and visualize their emotions, focus on issues of concern, and deviate from traditional bodily perceptions. The boundless nature of new media art enables the students of the New Media Department to construct various imaginations and ways of thinking about artistic creation.

Note: “tiny Opening: Daily Violation” derives the phrase from the term “violation” used in basketball games.
