Recognizing the importance of showcasing research and creative achievements in tech art, as well as expanding public outreach, the Center planned Taiwan’s first permanent professional gallery dedicated to tech art in 2009. The gallery officially opened in March 2010 and relocated to its current space following the inauguration of the new building in 2023. In addition to showcasing the Center’s accumulated creations and R&D outcomes over the years, the gallery regularly invites outstanding artists to exhibit their works.
Since its opening, the gallery has received enthusiastic responses from both domestic and international visiting groups and audiences. Through guided tours and hands-on demonstrations, it effectively advances educational goals in tech art, closes the gap between the exhibition venue and viewers, and fosters interaction and exchange among international tech-art institutions and academic groups. Moving forward, the gallery aims to establish itself as an international center for tech-art development with a distinct identity and scale.
